2x2 Tournament at Hoopla's Championship Court featuring special invitee teams from the Hoopla ranks battling it out in a fun-filled bracketed format. The Hoopla Tip-Off Party for sponsors and other invitees will be held in conjunction with the 2x2 Tip-Off Tourney.

Unified Basketball Clinic presented by Green Acres Landscape, Inc. & iWingz

It's back! Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Green Acres Landscape, Inc. & iWingz, Hoopla is proud to present a Unified Basketball Clinic! FREE for all unified student-athletes, the Unified Basketball Clinic will offer these students a chance to learn basketball fundamentals and skills from Hoopla’s expert staff all while having a great time together at Hoopla's magnificent championship court setting. All participants also will receive a free t-shirt.
Free Kids Clinic conducted by Hoopla & The Family YMCA of Marion and Polk Counties presented by Oregon OMS and Drs. Howerton, Hopkin, Kennedy & Clark

Each year Hoopla and the YMCA of Marion and Polk Counties jointly conduct a kids' clinic focused on basketball fundamentals for interested youngsters from the Salem-area and beyond. This awesome fun-filled event is sponsored by Oregon OMS and Drs. Howerton, Hopkin, Kennedy & Clark, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, and it is FREE to area kids. A two-hour event, the Kids' Clinic annually attracts hundreds of young basketball-loving ballers, who take part in drills and are given tips on the game by coaches and players from local colleges and high schools.
Kona Ice Friday 2x2 Tourney

The Kona Ice Friday 2x2 Tourney has been a HUGE HIT at Hoopla! Rosters of 2 or 3 compete in a 2x2 tourney in 10 different divisions. This event is proving to be a great way to get into Hoopla and get "warmed up" on-site Friday before the big 3x3 festivities on the weekend.
Pepsi Hot Shot Contest
With 1:00 minute at the disposal of each contestant, participants race to accumulate the most possible points from five different shooting spots - each offering varying point totals. The Pepsi Hot Shot Contest is a mix of skill, endurance and strategy, as racking up points is key but so, too, is getting up enough shots. Does the Hoopla star take as many lay-ups (1 point) as possible in the minute, fire threes (5 points), or some blend with other shots/point totals mixed in as well. Only the smartest and best players have a legitimate chance in the Hot Shot Contest. Eight (8) separate divisions in which to compete: Male 18+; Female 18+; HS Boys; HS Girls; MS Boys; MS Girls; Grade School Boys; Grade School Girls.
Home2 Suites by Hilton Free Throw Contest
A test of acumen and nerves, the Home2 Suites by Hilton Free Throw Contest finds the most clutch Hoopla participants each year. In this hotly-contested match, mental toughness, skill, and the abilty to focus while blocking out distractions are all paramount. Think 30 straight free throws is pretty impressive? When it comes to the Home2 Suites Free Throw Contest, participants might need to think again! Eight (8) separate divisions in which to compete: Male 18+; Female 18+; HS Boys; HS Girls; MS Boys; MS Girls; Grade School Boys; Grade School Girls.
Oregon State Parks Skills Challenge
One of the most exciting and fun contests at Hoopla XXIII will be the Oregon State Parks Skills Challenge. The real ballers can do more than jump or hit a 3, they can do it ALL! The Skills Challenge will separate the most skilled players from the rest, with ball-handling, passing, speed, and shooting all on display as contestants navigate a challenging course of obstacles and challenges.
Columbia Bank 3-Point Shootout
The Columbia Bank 3-Point Shootout is sure to be a favorite contest for all the sharpshooters playing in Hoopla this year. Firing 3-pointers from all around the 3-point line and racing against both foe and clock, the Columbia Bank 3-Point Shootout offers challenge, excitement and thrills for the very best of the best shooters in Hoopla in eight different divisions: Male 35+; Male 18-34; Female 18+; HS Boys; HS Girls; MS Boys; MS Girls; Combined Grade School. Winners in each division will receive prizes!
Win-A-Toyota Shooting Challenge
The Win-A-Toyota Challenge will take place at the championship court near the Oregon State Capitol Building on Saturday. Exact contest details to be announced on-site Saturday.

Dutch Bros. Slam Dunk Contest
If a player can't fly, he/she need not apply... Dutch Bros. Slam Dunk Contest - annually a centerpiece at Hoopla - features some of the most amazing athletic and acrobatic maneuvers seen on a basketball court. Judged by Hoopla dignitaries, the Dutch Bros. Slam Dunk Contest always attracts a huge crowd and rarely disappoints despite the high expectations and hype that precede it.
Courthouse Club Fitness Hustle Awards
All Day, Saturday & Sunday
Sure when a kid scores she might see her name in the paper the next day...but Hoopla is rewarding those participants that hustle the best, show the most heart, and do the unglamorous things that help their team win. So who knows? Take the charge, dive for a loose ball, set five good screens in three sequences and maybe you will be a winner of a coveted Courthouse Club Fitness Hustle Award!
Hampton Inn & Suites Sportsmanship Awards

Whether it be applauding the great play of an opponent, helping a fellow Hoopla competitor off the ground, saying "nice play" to somebody on the other team, or thanking an official for their time and help at Hoopla, great sportsmanship helps make everybody's experience at the event better. In recognition of acts big and small, seen and unseen -- Hampton Inn & Suites will be passing out rewards for great sportsmanship throughout this year's Hoopla!
